remote-login-service software package provides Service to track the remote servers to use, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install remote-login-service
remote-login-service is installed in your system.
Make ensure the remote-login-service package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep remote-login-service *
You will get with remote-login-service package name, version, architecture and description in a table
